In fact, now the reservation seats in the colleges of Chhattisgarh have been cancelled. …..and the shocking thing is that the reserved seats will remain empty now! Results of competitive exams have not yet come and this is the reason Due to non-availability of 18,000 reserved seats in the colleges of Chhattisgarh, all the admissions were not done, that’s why these reserved seats are still vacant where no one is being given admission! Due to which the students are looking very upset now.
Now the students are waiting for the Governor’s signature on the reservation bill! But according to the information so far, it has come to know that even if the Governor signs the reservation bill, then it is difficult to get admission on the vacant seats!
In fact, the earlier BJP government had increased the reservation limit from 50 percent to 58 percent through the 2011 Amendment Act in the Loksabha 1994 Reservation Act! Against which many petitions were also filed in the High Court in 2012 itself! Whose hearing went on for a long time! The results of which have been worn for a few months, in which this amendment was canceled calling it unconstitutional!
But there is no relief from the Supreme Court. Same Chhattisgarh’s Engineering, Pharmacy, BA BEd, Polytechnic have also been stopped! Even in medical colleges, students have lost more than 104 seats. For this problem of seats, many umbrellas had filed a petition in the Supreme Court. But. , Supreme has rejected it on 6 February 2023!
I would like to tell you that even before this, in 2012, the reservation system was reduced to 50 percent! After this, the Congress government implemented reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes in the Legislative Assembly, in the Chhattisgarh Lok Sabha! But the Legislative Assembly passed this decision on December 3, 2022! In which a system has been made to give 32 percent reservation to sc, 13 percent to st, 27 percent to other backward classes and 4 percent to economically weaker people!
But due to this system the students are still facing so much trouble. Students also say that if the admissions are so late then when will we study. , Or are these seats only for people with money. , For the time being, it has to be seen whether the umbrellas can get rid of this problem or this system will continue forever!
