A big news story is coming out on Sunday morning from Nalanda, the home district of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The news is big because a four-year-old child has fallen in a 150-foot borewell, and the resources here are not so great that much can be done immediately to save his life. At what depth the child is trapped in the borewell is also being guessed. This incident happened in Kul Bhadari village, Nalanda police station area, Silav block. The villagers have started rescuing them from their own level. The CO of Silav and the SHO of Nalanda have reached the spot and started rescuing.

4 year old Shivam came out of borewell after 8 hours, and the NDRF team jumped in his lap

Gave oxygen supply in borewell, digging started next
About an hour after the news of the incident spread, at 10.30 a.m. oxygen started being given through the pipe of the medical cylinder in the borewell. After this borewell failed on Chuhan Singh’s farm, the laborers covered it with a wire leaf. Shivam Kumar, the four-year-old son of Doman Manjhi, had followed his mother towards the farm. The mother did not know, and the child fell into the borewell while playing near the leaves.

When the crowd gathered after hearing his cry, people reached the borewell. After this, the villagers started digging at their level. Around 10.30 am, with the help of two JCBs, an attempt is being made to get the child out safely by digging in the side. District Disaster Branch in-charge Krishna Kumar Upadhyay also reached the spot around quarter to 11 o’clock. NDRF and SDRF teams have also been called from Patna.

Relief due to Sunday, the team will be able to reach from Patna in two and a half hours
Due to Sunday, there is relief on the roads, so if the special disaster management team from Patna moves very fast, it can reach the city in two and a half hours. People without expertise around the borewell are currently engaged in digging to save lives, showing their courage. When a team of experts comes, it will be known how deeply the child is stuck. With no rain, it would be easier for the disaster management team to work, but a four-year-old child would be suffocating in the borewell due to the heat. As of now, it is not even possible to estimate what his current condition is.
