Maharashtra: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis hit back at the Shiv Sena (UBT) chief on Monday. He said, ‘I think my old friend and today’s political rival Uddhav Thackeray needs a psychiatrist.’
What did Uddhav Thackeray say?
Actually, Uddhav Thackeray had called Fadnavis a stigma for Nagpur. He had said, Fadnavis’s condition has become so bizarre that it can be called intolerable and indescribable. Once he had said – I will come again. But, he brought two more people with him. Who are those two people? Devendra Fadnavis is a stigma for Nagpur. Now they are saying, Uddhav Thackeray stabbed us. Who first stabbed Uddhav in the back? He was in power from 2014 to 2019. Shiv Sena did not break the alliance in 2014. I did not join the Congress then. I was the same and I am the same.
Uddhav Thackeray further said that Devendra Fadnavis always used to say that whatever happens, we will not forge an alliance with the NCP. Uddhav had said about Ajit Pawar joining the Shinde-BJP group, what happened now? This time again why did BJP and Fadnavis do this?
Fadnavis retaliated like this
Speaking to reporters, Fadnavis said, “Look, overall I feel sorry for the thinking and behavior of our former friend and today’s political opponent Uddhav Thackeray. I feel he needs a psychiatrist. Maybe because of this situation This kind of result has been very contrary to their thinking. In such a mindset, when a person speaks such things, it is not responded to.”
BJP’s performance on calling Fadnavis a stigma
At the same time, BJP workers protested against Uddhav Thackeray for calling Fadnavis a stigma for Nagpur. BJP Yuva Morcha workers tore the posters.
