Pilibhit murder case: Wife hacked 60-year-old husband to pieces with an axe, body recovered from canal, search for lover
Woman Dularo Devi, a resident of Shivnagar village in Gajraula area of Pilibhit, killed her husband Rampal (60 years) by hitting him with an axe. The dead body was cut into several pieces and thrown into the canal after filling it in a sack. The police was engaged in recovering the pieces of the dead body. On Friday morning, the police recovered the body parts from the Hardoi branch canal on the indication of the accused wife. The police have collected the pieces of the dead body and sent it for postmortem.
According to the police, Rampal lived in the village with his wife Dularo Devi. His son Sompal works as a laborer in Haryana. He has returned to the village only eight days back. Sompal told that the father had gone missing on the night of 24 July. When there was no trace of her, on July 26, she lodged a missing complaint at the police station and raised doubts about her mother.
When the police strictly questioned Dularo, he told that Rampal used to beat him. On the night of 24 July also, there was a fight between the two. Meanwhile, Rampal died after being hit in the head by an ax in a scuffle. After arresting Dularo, the police involved in the investigation suspect that he carried out the incident due to his relation with some person. The police is looking for her lover.

Dularo told the police that after killing her husband, she took off all her clothes and cut them with an axe. After filling the clothes in another sack, they threw them on the bank of the canal. On Thursday, the police recovered Rampal’s clothes from the canal side. There was blood in it. On Friday, a sack was recovered from the canal, in which the pieces of the dead body were filled. The people of the village are shocked by this sensational incident.
Suspicion of lover’s involvement in the incident
It is being told that the woman had cut the dead body into several pieces with an axe. After this filled in a sack. She threw herself into the canal flowing at a distance of 500 meters from the village. The question arises that she cannot cover such a distance alone with so much weight. Someone else has also helped him. The woman’s lover is also suspected to be involved in the incident. The police is probing this aspect.
