River-like situation on the roads of Rajasthan, alert issued in 19 districts of Jaipur
Many states of India are in the grip of fence due to rain. In such a situation, Rajasthan is also not untouched by this. Talking only about Jaipur district of Rajasthan, this Meteorological Department has given weather forecast to 19 districts Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Churu, Nagaur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Pali, Tonk, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Dholpur, Bharatpur, Rain alert has been issued in Bikaner, Hanumangarh. During this, there has also been a warning of lightning.
Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, has been waterlogged due to heavy rains. It has been raining in the city since last Friday. Jaipur’s World Heritage Old City Parkota and Greater Jaipur area as well as Sikar Road, Ajmer Road, Agra Road, Delhi Road, Tonk Road have been jammed and waterlogged at various places.

According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, at present the monsoon trough line is in normal condition, apart from this a western disturbance is also active. Monsoon is expected to remain active in Ajmer, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota divisions of eastern Rajasthan today and there is a possibility of rain in most parts and heavy rain at some places. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light moderate rain in some parts of Jodhpur, Bikaner division and heavy rain at one or two places. Monsoon will remain active in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Kota divisions of eastern and north-eastern Rajasthan and rain activities will continue.
Jaipur recorded 3.5 inches of rain in 3 hours
Saturday morning became memorable for the common people along with the devotees of Shri Govind Devji in Jaipur. The torrential rain that started from 3.30 am soaked the entire wall. The black clouds that rained at the same speed made Jaipur an island. Due to water logging, water like rivers was seen flowing on the roads. There was water all around. Even in the higher areas, the roads are filled with water up to half a foot. At the same time, water was seen moving up to 3 feet on the roads of the low-lying areas. Due to which the normal life has come to a standstill. Many areas including Chandpole, Gangauri Bazar, Tripolia Bazar, Brahmpuri, Subhash Chowk, Ramganj Bazar, Jalmahal, Amer Road were flooded.
