Chandan, Jugal and Jitendra are no more: bike collided face to face on Jhansi-Khajuraho highway, three people died painfully
Two bikes collided with each other on the Jhansi-Khajuraho highway near Sakrar on Sunday night. Three people riding on both bikes died in the accident. Two of the dead were relatives, while one youth was a resident of a neighboring village. As soon as the news of the deaths of all three reached their homes, the family members rushed to the hospital, crying. The police have sent the dead body for a postmortem.
Ghanshyam, son of Chandan Prajapati (50), who lives near Ansal Colony in Pichor, Nawabad, went to Mauranipur on Sunday evening with his brother-in-law, Jugal Prajapati (55), a resident of Gudri. Both were returning home by bike at night.
Jitendra Yadav (27), a resident of Naura, was coming on a bike from the opposite direction as soon as these people reached the Sakrar flyover at around nine o’clock in the night. Suddenly, both of them could not handle their bikes after coming face-to-face. His bikes collided with each other. Chandan, Jugal, and Jitendra Yadav were seriously injured in the accident. All three suffered serious injuries. People gathered around to see the accident. Sakrar police also reached them after a while. The police took all three injured to the Medical College. Seeing the critical condition of the injured here, they were admitted to the ICU. Chandan and Jitendra died during treatment on Monday morning, while Jugal also died in the afternoon.
Jitendra was the only support of the family
Jitendra Naura used to do farming while staying in the village itself. Had gone out to buy vegetables from home. After this, he was returning. According to relatives, Jitendra’s younger brother, Chhotu, had died two years ago. Jitendra was now the only support for the elderly parents. As soon as the news of Jitendra’s death reached his house, his wife Aarti fainted.
There was a hue and cry in the house. He has a three-year-old son. The mother also became breathless while crying. On the other hand, there are two sons and two daughters in Chandan’s family, along with his wife. Son Surendra and daughter Pooja are married, while two are yet to be married. Chandan wanted to get his daughter Dolly married this year, but this accident happened before that.
