Delhi Assembly: BJP wrote a letter to the Speaker demanding extension of the session from two to ten days
The Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, Ramveer Singh Bidhuri, has demanded an extension of the two-day assembly session from August 16 to 10 days. In this regard, he has also written a letter to the Delhi Assembly Speaker. To extend the session of the assembly, it has been argued that two days are insufficient to discuss the problems of the capital. Only BJP MLAs have given notice for discussion on 12 burning problems in Delhi. That’s why the duration of the session should be extended.

In a letter written to Assembly Speaker Ramniwas Goyal, Bidhuri has given notice for discussion on 12 issues. These included misappropriation of crores in the panic button installed in the name of the safety of women and prevention of untoward incidents, falsification of files of corruption cases from the Vigilance Department at midnight, and expenditure of crores on the beautification of the Chief Minister’s residence and Delhi in dealing with floods. The failure of the government is the main one.
