BSP chief Mayawati has said that the outbreak of communal riots in Haryana near the country’s capital Delhi and its unabated spread in Gurgaon etc. is very sad. Due to heavy loss of properties of the people, it is proved that law and order in Haryana is collapsed like in Manipur. The intelligence system there is inactive. Said that the central government should help Haryana in this matter.

Mayawati issued a statement on Wednesday. He said that as claimed by the state of Haryana, the riot started due to stone pelting on the visit of VHP etc. It is clear from this that the Haryana government has failed to provide security to the Yatra. Overall, questions have arisen on the policy, intention and working style of the government there. When the government there cannot provide security to the proposed yatra, even the procession, then why does it allow such an event. This is the question every government should ask itself.

Looking at the incident in Nuh, it seems that Haryana lacks the intention to stop the riots and the further violence which is worrisome. Anyway, be it Manipur or the shameful incidents of other states including Haryana, riots and violence should not be allowed to become a means of politics and fulfillment of narrow selfishness by any state government. The protection of life, property and religion of the people becomes the constitutional responsibility of the state government. The BSP made law and order better in the state after ruling it four times.

The BSP demands that the Haryana state government should make an honest effort to restore security and peace. The central government should also come forward to help the state government so that the situation there does not get worse. Red alert has been issued in Delhi, UP and other states due to its apprehension, which is also an appropriate step. He appealed to make peace with Haryana and its adjoining states.

Chief Minister appealed to maintain peace

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said on Wednesday that the death of six people has been confirmed in the violence in Haryana’s Nuh district. Two home guards and four common citizens are among those who lost their lives in the Nuh incident. The Chief Minister has appealed to the people to maintain peace in the state.

Haryana CM said that 30 companies of state police and 20 companies of central security forces are deployed. Out of 20 companies of Central Security Force, we have deployed 3 in Palwal, 2 in Gurugram, 1 in Faridabad and 14 in Nuh. So far 116 people have been arrested who will be taken on remand.
