Rewa Crime: Gang rape of two tribal sisters, 7 youths crossed all limits of brutality, made video of brutality
The innocent victim of the Maihar Nirbhaya incident had not even reached home from the hospital, and now a case of crossing the limits of barbarity has come to the fore from the Hanumana police station area of Rewa district. Where seven youths gang-raped two cousin tribal sisters, aged 13 and 14, who had gone to the forest to cut chakoda greens. When the girls narrated their ordeal, even the police were shocked. Five with one and two with the other accused also made a video by committing atrocities.
There was a stir in the police department when the video of the gang rape went viral on Sunday. In a hurry, the police identified the girls and brought them to the police station. After registering a case, five boys were taken into custody. The accused are being questioned about the incident. Two accused are still absconding.
Both the girls had gone to cut greens in the forest
According to the information, this incident of bestiality with two sisters is about 15 days old. Both the 13- and 14-year-old sisters had gone to the forest to cut chakoda greens. Five boys were already present there. Seeing both sisters, the accused started making obscene gestures and called two more of their companions on the phone. Sensing their intentions, both sisters started running away from there.
On this, all the accused chased them, caught them, and took them to Karkach Forest. There, they took the girls hostage. Then the seven boys raped her. The accused were also making a video of this ordeal. Even after the brutality, they kept them hostage, and both sisters kept pleading to leave them. Later, the accused left after threatening to defame the video by making it viral and giving information about the incident to anyone. Due to her fear of defamation, she could not muster the courage to inform the family members about the dreadful incident.
Police engaged in investigation of the case
On Monday, police officers inspected the spot. SP Vivek Singh, ASP Vivek Kumar Lal, and Dr. RP Shukla, Senior Scientific Officer of the Scene of Crime Unit, collected physical evidence with the team. The police have found important evidence related to the incident, on the basis of which further investigation is being done.
