Telangana: Sports school girl students allege sexual harassment by official, suspended by state government
A senior official of Telangana’s Hakimpet Sports School has been suspended by the state government on charges of sexual harassment. Some girl students at the school have accused her.
A five-member committee constituted
On allegations of sexual harassment of girls by an official of Telangana State Sports School, State Sports and Youth Services Minister V Srinivasa Goud said that the official has been suspended. Apart from this, it was also announced that a five-member committee would be set up to investigate the matter. Further action will be taken on the basis of the investigation report.

Reacting to the incident, BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavita said that she is deeply saddened by the incident. He said that there should be no place for such things in the Telangana government working under the leadership of CM KCR. He requested that the minister take the necessary action against the accused and ensure justice for the victims. He also demanded a thorough investigation into the matter.
