West Bengal: Assistant registrar of the High Court fainted while registering the order to remove the Shivling, the judge changed the decision

According to the information, there is a dispute regarding the land between Sudeep Pal and Govind Mandal, residents of Khidirpur, Beldanga, and Murshidabad. In May this year, there was a fight between the two in a land dispute. Both had lodged complaints against each other at Beldanga police station. Both got bail from the lower court. Later, the police filed the charge sheet.

A few days later, the dispute took a new turn when Govind Mandal was accused of placing a Shivling on the disputed land. Sudeep reached the police station against this and demanded the removal of the Shivling. But it is alleged that the police did not take any action. After this, Sudeep Pal filed a case of police inaction in the Calcutta High Court.

In this case, on Monday, Judge Jai Sengupta asked Govind Mandal’s lawyer, Why did your client install Shivling on the disputed land? On this, Govind’s lawyer, Mrityunjay Chatterjee, said that my client did not install the Shivling, but it itself emerged from the ground. After this, Judge Jai Sengupta directed that it be removed. After this, while recording the judge’s decision, suddenly Assistant Registrar Biswanath Rai fainted. He was taken to the Calcutta High Court Medical Center. After this, the judge went out of the courtroom.

Shortly after the incident, Justice Jai Sengupta returned to the court and said, the court would not interfere in the matter. This matter will be run through a civil case in the lower court. The reason why the assistant registrar fainted is not known.
