The matter is of Tenshah Alamabad of Manjhanpur Kotwali area. The dead body of Nisha Devi, 20-year-old daughter of Naresh Saroj, who lives here, was found in a canal outside the village on Tuesday morning. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started the investigation. Naresh, who was present on the spot, identified the dead body of the girl as that of his daughter.
Naresh had told that his daughter had left the house for defecation at around 4 am on January 31. Since then she did not return to her home. He had also lodged a missing case of his daughter at Manjhanpur Kotwali on 3rd February. On this, the police suspected the family members of murder. After this, the police strictly interrogated the father of the deceased in custody.
After which the post-mortem action was taken by the police by taking the dead body into custody. Case number 45/23 was registered under Section 302/201 of IPC on the basis of missing post mortem report and investigation report. He said that during the investigation, the fact came to light that Suman was strangled to death by the deceased’s father Naresh and her mother Shobha Devi in their own house. Also, to hide the identity of the dead body, the body of the deceased was embalmed using battery water.
The SP further said, “When the father was interrogated in custody, he accepted that his daughter used to talk to many youths on mobile. It was suspected that she was pregnant. On this basis, he along with his wife strangled the daughter to death. The dead body was buried along with his two brothers. All the four accused have been arrested in the case.
