NCR Managing Director Anees Joseph Chandra said that we have partnered with ONDC to sell tomatoes in Delhi NCR. On 31 December 2021, ONDC was established. The purpose of which is to provide a digital platform to the buyer and the seller. He said that consumers can place their orders from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm daily and the delivery will be done the next day. He said that no additional fee would be charged.

Chandra said that tomatoes are initially listed in ONDC. Its interface is very simple. Consumers can easily order tomatoes at Rs 70 per kg by visiting these apps. Any consumer can order Tomatoes only up to 2 Kg. At present, e-commerce companies are selling tomatoes at around Rs.170-180 per kg.
