On November 20, the police received information that the body of a newborn was lying in a pile of garbage behind the hostel. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. The police had established a marg by taking the dead body into custody.
When the post-mortem of the dead body was done, it was found that the newborn had died due to severe head injury. On this, the police registered a case of murder against the unknown and started investigation. In the investigation of the police, it was found that 18 years and 6 months old girl living in a village of Gohparu lives in Kasturba Hostel. She is a student of 12th. The girl was having a love affair with a young man from the village.
On November 18, the girl gave birth to a new born baby, the girl kept the child in the hostel for 1 day, on the second day she was beaten to death on the seat in the bathroom and thrown out of the hostel.
In this case, Shahdol DSP Raghavendra Dwivedi said that in the investigation of the police, it was found that this girl of the girls’ hostel had a love affair with a young man she knew. Due to the physical relationship between the two, the student became pregnant, but the student kept this fact hidden from her family members. The student gave birth to a newborn in the hostel itself.
Even after the birth of the child, the management did not take any action. Even after the child was killed by the girl, the management did not get any information, after all, why didn’t the superintendent posted in the girls’ hostel know about it. Hostel management is under question.
