A teacher from Delhi’s Model Basti primary school threw a girl student from the first floor of the school. The student has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. According to the information received, two female teachers of MCD school first hit a class 5 girl with a paper cutter in a mutual quarrel and then threw her from the first floor. The girl suffered a head injury in the incident, which is being treated at Hindu Rao Hospital.
Today at 11:15 am the Beat Officer of Desh Bandhu Gupta Road Police Station was informed by a person that a girl child has been thrown down from the first floor by a school teacher and a crowd has gathered there. The SHO reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
The police came to know that the accused teacher Geeta Deshwal first hit Vandana, a class 5 student, with a small paper-cutting scissor and then threw her down from the class room on the first floor. After this, the injured girl was taken to Bada Hindu Rao Hospital for treatment, where her condition remains stable. In this case, the police has taken the accused teacher into custody and registered a case under section 307 of the IPC.
The victim girl told in the hospital that the teacher first hit her with scissors. The girl along with him, crying further, told that the teacher was cutting her hair too. When the victim was asked whether you were thrown from the roof too? So she said yes while crying. The victim told that there was no bullying in the class.
