In Gurugram, adjacent to the country’s capital Delhi, a 17-year-old minor student of Class 11 has accused her brother and father of sexual exploitation. Police said on Monday that the student told the principal and teachers of her school that her father and brother allegedly sexually assaulted her and also threatened to kill her if she told anyone about it.He said that after counseling and interrogating the girl for four hours, an FIR was registered at the Kherki Daula police station under sections of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act. A senior police officer said, “We are verifying the facts and action will be taken as per the law.”
