A case has been registered against the accused resident of Doon who uploaded child porn videos on the social media portal. The cyber monitoring team has also got the video removed from the portal. Jakhan Chowki Incharge Rakesh Chaudhary said that the information was received from the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal operated by the Union Home Ministry. It was told that the child porn was uploaded on the social site Instagram from the internet protocol address of Doon.
A person living in Thana Rajpur area of Dehradun uploaded a child porn video on the tip line’s Instagram under the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal operated by the Government of India. There was an uproar as soon as the porn was uploaded on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. As soon as the news of this came, the cyber police swung into action and the video was immediately removed.
Along with this, the police have registered a case against the accused under the IT Act and have also started investigating the matter. Police is investigating the matter. Whatever will come out in the investigation, according to which legal action will be taken.
On the other hand, SP City Sarita Doval said that information was received from the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal operated by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs that child porn was uploaded on the social media site Instagram from the Internet Protocol address of Dehradun.
