Gehlot cabinet approved 19 new districts and 3 new divisions to improve development and administration in the state
Rajasthan Cabinet Decision:
Assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan at the end of the year. In such a situation, the ruling Congress and the BJP are busy in preparations. Amidst all this, an important meeting of the Ashok Gehlot cabinet was held on Friday, in which many important proposals were approved. The cabinet of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to create 19 new districts. Apart from this, the proposal to create 3 new divisions has also been accepted. In this way, now there are total 50 districts in Rajasthan. There was a demand for creating new districts in Rajasthan for a long time. The Gehlot government has made a big claim by fulfilling their demands just before the assembly elections.

After the decision of the Gehlot cabinet, now there will be a total of 50 districts in Rajasthan. The newly formed districts include Anupgarh, Balotra, Beawar, Deeg, Didwana, Dudu, Gangapur City, Jaipur City, Jaipur Rural, Jodhpur City, Jodhpur Rural, Kekdi, Kotputli, Khairthal, Neemkathana, Phalodi, Salumbar, Sanchore and Shahpura. Let us tell you that the demand for making Jaipur city and Jaipur rural a separate district was going on for a long time. However, a section was also against it. Apart from this, continuous mobilization was going on to make Sanchore a district. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has played a new political masterstroke by fulfilling the demand for creation of new districts.
Total 50 districts in Rajasthan now
After the decision of the Rajasthan cabinet, now there are 50 districts in the state. After the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot informed about the decisions. Ministers Shanti Dhariwal, Mahesh Joshi, Pratap Singh Khachariawas, BD Kalla, Hemaram Chaudhary, Govind Ram Meghwal, Shakuntala Rawat, Sukhram Vishnoi, Lalchand Kataria, Zahida Khan, Brajendra Ola, Ramlal Jat, Ramesh Meena and other cabinet colleagues were present with them. Revenue Secretary Aparna Arora told that after the formation of 19 new districts, there are total 50 districts in Rajasthan.
‘Big day for Rajasthan’
Let us tell you that the report of the committee regarding the formation of new districts was placed in the cabinet meeting. The Gehlot cabinet gave its approval while approving the report. Along with the new districts, the decision to create 3 new divisions has also been given the green signal. Banswara, Pali and Sikar have now become new divisions. Cabinet Secretary Usha Sharma told that today is a big day for Rajasthan. Notification of 19 new districts has been issued. Common people will be benefited by the formation of new districts. Administration will also get convenience in work.
